By default, the Matters overview section in mattero displays the Title and Client for each Matter, and the following columns: Lawyer, Practice Area, Stage, Open Date, and Last Change. However, these five columns can be replaced to show information from your organisation's custom fields.
For example, if you have configured a Settlements Due custom field (or Client Agreement, or Conference Date, etc.), you can set these as columns, allowing you to sort all Matters by these attributes.
Please note, a maximum of five custom columns (not including the Title and Client columns) can be selected, however four or fewer columns can also be displayed.
Further, the Title and Client columns cannot be removed or replaced.
Customising Matters Overview
To customise your Matters overview:
- From the sidebar, select Matters.
- Select Bulk Actions, then select Choose Columns.
- Select up to five column options as needed. Please note, selecting fewer than five columns, or selecting no columns at all, is also possible. Once a selection is made, these settings will be retained for your mattero account, but will not apply to any other users in your organisation.
Further, you can select the Reset icon to revert to the default selection of Lawyer, Practice Area, Stage, Open Date, and Last Change at any time.
- When all selections are made, select Apply.
Please note, once your new columns are applied, you can sort the Matters Overview using these columns by selecting their names in the header section.
However, these columns are currently not included in any exports from mattero.
