Manage Account and Billing (Credit Cards and Payment Details)
Once you've configured your Subscription Package, you may need to update your account and billing information, such as your credit/debit card details and billing address.
Please note, mattero processes payments via Stripe, a secure payment platform. Only credit cards and debit cards can be processed via this system; direct debit from a bank account is not available through Stripe.
Further, this article does not discuss changing your Subscription Package or purchasing more licences; view the Subscription Packages article for these processes.
Managing Your Account and Billing Details
To manage your Account and Billing:
- On the sidebar, select System (
).
- Under Subscription and Marketplace, select Account and Billing.
- In the Account page, select Billing and Invoices.
- Your organisation's payment details are held by Stripe, a secure payment platform. Your credit card details are not stored in mattero, only Stripe; mattero cannot access your credit card details.
You can edit your billing and account details (and also view your invoice history with mattero) via the Stripe page that opens.
Please note, if you have only one payment method associated with your account, you will not be able to change or delete this method until a new payment method has been added and made the default payment method.
To do this, select Add Payment Method, add your new or updated payment method's details, then save it to Stripe.
Once this is done, select your new method's Actions menu and select Make Default. Then, select the Actions menu of your original payment method and select Delete.
Further, if you have two or more payment methods, you still cannot delete your Default payment method, and must make another method the default before proceeding.
To update your billing information (such as your address and ABN), select Update Information.
Please note, if you record an Australian billing address, GST will be applied to the purchase.
A history of your invoices from mattero is also available at the bottom of the page; select View More to view all invoices, and select the Expand () icon to view and download a copy of an invoice.
