If your device uses the Windows 10 operating system and does not have WebView2 installed, you may experience display issues with the Outlook Add-In.
Please note, other operating systems should not have this issue. To check which operating system your device uses, view this article.
To resolve this issue, you will first need to confirm if your device has WebView2 installed. If not, you will need to install WebView2, a free program from Microsoft.
Checking for WebView2
To check if your device has WebView2 installed:
- Open your device's Start menu, then search "Programs" and select Add or Remove Programs.
- In the window that opens, enter "WebView2" in the search field. If WebView2 appears, the program is already on your device, and you do not need to install it.
If WebView2 does not appear, it is not installed and you will need to install the program. (View the "Installing WebView2" section below for more information).
Please note, close Outlook before installing any programs.
To install WebView2:
- Go to the WebView2 download page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and select Download on the "Evergreen Bootstrapper" option, then follow the instructions of Microsoft's download process.
Please note, do not download any other options.
