As part of the Outlook Add-in installation process, you may be required to confirm your device has an up-to-date version of Outlook installed.

This is confirmed by checking the Outlook Version Number. Please note, this process is different if use a Windows or Apple (Mac) device.

Checking Outlook Version Number (Windows)

To check your Outlook Version Number on a Windows device:

1. In Outlook, select File from the top-left corner of the ribbon.

2. In the page that opens, select Office Account, then About Outlook.

3. In the window that opens, the Outlook Version Number will be in the top line in bold.

Checking Outlook Version Number (Apple)

To check your Outlook Version Number on an Apple (Mac) device:

1. In Outlook, select Outlook from the top-left corner, then select About Outlook.

2. In the window that opens, the Outlook Version Number will be the second line that appears.
