The Omnisearch allows you to search and access Matters, Contacts, Documents, and System settings from any page in mattero.

Enter your search term in the Omnisearch, and up to five Matter, Contact, and Document results will display. There is no limit on the number of System settings that will display.

You can expand the results for the first three sections by selecting View all found Matters/Contacts/Documents.

Matters

The Matters section's results come from a Matter's number, title, and description. The Matter's name, number, client, lawyer, and practice area will display. A locked icon will display if the Matter is closed.

Select a Matter to open its dashboard.

Contacts

The Contacts section's results come from a Contact's name, email, and any address associated with the Contact. The Contact's name, phone number, email, and address (the primary address if they have multiple listed) will display.

Select a Contact to view their summary page.

Documents

The Documents section's results come from a Document's title field, as well as from the text in the files themselves. The Document's title, file type, and the associated Contact or Matter's numbers and titles will display.

Select a Document to open the Documents tab of its associated Matter or Contact; the Document will be highlighted and a preview displayed in this tab.

System Settings

The System settings section's results come from a System setting's title and its description. The System setting's title and description will display.
