All document types can be uploaded to mattero, however only Microsoft Word documents (.docx) support field merging.
To upload document templates:
- On the sidebar, select System ().
- Under Documents, select Document Templates.
- Select Add Template.
- From your device's File Explorer, select the file or files to upload, and then select Open.
- In the File Upload window, select existing Tags, or enter new Tags, to attach to the document template. Tags attached to a document template are available for any documents created from the document template.
In the Related To field, select what the document template relates to (such as a Matter, Contact, Invoice, etc.). This specifies where the document template can be used and the fields available for merging.
If you select Matter, you can also select the Practice Areas for the document template. If you select Matter, Contact, or Invoice, you can also select the group for the document template.
Finally, select the Calendar icon and select a creation date as needed.
- Select Upload.
The files are uploaded as Document Templates for mattero.
